VP Sadiq-GS Farhad announced Shibir's entire panel at DUCSU.
A total of 28 members have been announced by Bangladeshi Islami Chhatra Shibir to run in the Dhaka University Central Students' Union (DUCSU) elections. The Chhatra Shibir's central publication secretary, Sadiq Kayem, has received a nomination for vice president (VP). Mohiuddin Khan, the general secretary of the DU branch, has been nominated for the position of assistant general secretary (AGS), whereas SM Farhad, the president of the DU branch, is running for the position of general secretary (GS).
Additionally, Fatima Tasnim Juma, the secretary of the Liberation War and Democratic Movement, joined from Inqilab Manch.
Chhatra Shibir leaders and activists staged a press conference on Monday, August 18, after gathering nomination papers at the Chief Returning Officer's office on the third floor of Dhaka University's Nawab Nabab Ali Senate Building.
During the press conference, Chhatra Shibir Central Secretary Nurul Islam Saddam revealed the names of the applicants for the positions of VP, GS, and AGS. "We expect that the elections will be held within the period given by the administration in a fair and safe atmosphere," he stated.

The remaining panel members' identities were revealed by DU Shibir President SM Farhad.
He stated that Khan Jasim, who lost his eye in an accident in July of this year, has been nominated for the position of International Affairs Secretary, Umme Salma for the position of Common Room, Reading Room, and Cafeteria Secretary, and Iqbal Haider for the position of Science and Technology Secretary.
Furthermore, Nurul Islam Sabbir, DU Shibir's current Finance Secretary, has been nominated for the position of Literature and Cultural Secretary. Asif Abdullah has been nominated for the position of Student Transport Secretary, Shariful Islam Muaz for the position of Social Services Secretary, and Arman Hossain for the position of Sports Secretary. Abdullah Al Minhaj has been nominated for the position of Health and Environment Secretary, Sakhawat Zakaria for the position of Human Rights and Legal Affairs Secretary, Mazharul Islam for the position of Career Development Secretary, and Sajjad Hossain Khan, the office secretary of DU Shibir, for the position of Research and Publication Secretary.
Thirteen additional member positions on the panel have received nominations.
