Terrible wildfires in France, 17,000 hectares burned
The worst wildfires in 75 years have ravaged France. In the country's southern Oude area, 17,000 hectares of land had burned. On the ground, almost 2,000 soldiers and firefighters are battling the fire. There are more than 500 water planes and firefighting vehicles in use.

On Tuesday, the French fire broke out close to the community of Ribot. At least 13 people, including 11 firefighters, were hurt, two of them critically, and one woman lost her life. Authorities have warned that even though the fire has been contained, it will still burn for a few more days.
