Students who pass the SSC will be eligible for general and merit scholarships from the government.

Regular students who completed the 2025 SSC test have been asked for information in order to provide merit scholarships and general scholarships under the revenue sector. By August 14th, the application form must be sent in paper copy and by email to (dd_plan_pbm@yahoo.com) using the format specified. The Director General of the Department of Secondary and Higher Education should be notified of this information.
The Department of Secondary and Higher Education (DSE) provided this information in a letter today, August 7. All chairmen of education boards have received the letter in this regard.

A sample table including the data that must be included in the letter has been supplied. The total number of regular examinees taking the SSC exam, the total number of regular passed students, the number of students with a GPA of 5, and the number of students without a GPA of 5 are the details that need to be supplied, per the table.
Additionally, based on HSC results, the government awards scholarships to 10,500 students annually. 9,375 of them receive basic scholarships, while 1,125 receive merit scholarships. Merit scholarship recipients in this exam receive 1,800 Taka annually and 825 Taka each month. Additionally, students who are awarded general scholarships receive 750 taka annually and 375 taka each month.
