Seven government colleges have officially separated from Dhaka University. The information, photos, and admission test fees of students wishing to be admitted for the 2024–25 academic year have been turned over to the proposed Dhaka Central University authorities, together with all administrative, academic, and financial obligations.
Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan transferred these duties and information to Professor AKM Elias, the temporary administrator of the proposed Dhaka Central University, during a ceremony on Thursday, August 14, in the Vice-Chancellor's conference room.
