The Prophet's (peace be upon him) modest way of life
Worldliness is now a common trait in human conduct. It appears as though the limitless artificiality is erasing truth and actual reality. In the throng of formalities, it seems as though individuals are drifting away from the primary objective. Human morals and principles are now manufactured.
However, such artificiality has no place in Islam. For all of humanity, the actions of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) are ideal. And the hallmarks of his distinct ideal were sincerity and humility. Say, "I do not ask you for any reward in return for this, and I am not of those who resort to artificiality," declares Allah the Almighty.
(Verse 86 of Surah: Saad)
The prohibitions of the Prophet against worldliness
"At one point, we were with Umar," remarked Anas, the companion (may Allah be pleased with him). He continued by saying, "We have been prohibited from worldliness and artificial behavior."
Hadith 7293, Sahih Bukhari

According to Asma bint Yazid (RA), the Prophet (PBUH) once invited us to join him for a dinner. "No, we do not need it," we said.
The Prophet (PBUH) advised against combining lying with hunger. Ibn Majah, Sunan, Hadith: 3298
That is, if you are invited to a meal and you are hungry, you will eat it instead of lying and claiming, "I do not need it," out of a sense of manufactured shame. This hadith promotes uncomplicated and direct action.by staying away from artificiality.
A few instances of the Prophet's (peace be upon him) sincere actions
According to a story told by Anas (may Allah be pleased with him), occasionally even a poor Medina maidservant would come to assist him with some work and would take the Prophet (peace be upon him) by the hand and lead him around as he liked.
(Hadith, Bukhari: 6072)

They would come to the Prophet (peace be upon him) whenever they needed assistance with a variety of material concerns.
He accomplished these things in spite of the enormous responsibility that came with being a prophet. He would defend the hearts and minds of common people even though he was the ruler of Hell. This is an unmatched illustration of his unwavering humility and sincere conduct.
Some people approached Zayd ibn Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) and asked him to tell them something concerning the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), according to Khareza ibn Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him). "What should I say about him?" asked Zayd ibn Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him). The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) lived next door to me. Every time something new came to light, he would send me news so I could record it. And (such was he!) he would talk to us about the Hereafter when we talked about it, and he would talk to us about earthly things when we talked aboutTalk to us about worldly issues....
(Tabarani—Al-Mujamul Kabir, Hadith: 4882)
This demonstrates that he did not believe that talking about worldly issues with ten other regular people would lessen the gravity of his prophetic status.
"I asked Aisha Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her): What does the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) do at home?" Aswad ibn Yazid (may Allah be pleased with him) responded. She stated: When the call to prayer is heard, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) walks out to pray while also assisting his family with home chores. (Hadith: 5363, Sahih Bukhari)

What a great illustration! How sincerely a great Prophet, who was in charge of the world's direction, used to care for and give his family the time they needed. He did not believe that his prophetic status would be diminished in any way.
It is mentioned in Abu Bakr Siddiq's (may Allah be pleased with him) account of the Hijrah incident. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was sitting in silence when he reached Medina. Because of his natural attire and mannerisms, many people did not recognize him and instead hailed Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him). Abu Bakr (RA) provided shade with his cloak for the Prophet (PBUH) when he was suffering from the sun's heat. Everyone realized then that this was Allah's Messenger. (PBUH) (Hadith, Bukhari: 3906)
This was a brief look inside the Prophet's (PBUH) modest life. Numerous comparable occurrences have been recounted in historical texts, Hadith, and Sirat. The Prophet (PBUH) did not think that his real interactions with people would undermine the seriousness and dignity of his prophetic status. And it is hard to tell the difference between the true and the phony in today's cosmopolitan society. These experiences of the Prophet (PBUH) inspire us to lead an honest and modest life.
