A Russian Su-30 fighter jet was shot down in Crimea, according to Ukraine. Four more military aircraft were also reported damaged, according to Ukraine's Internal Security Service (SBU).
In a statement released on Monday, the SBU claimed to have carried out a targeted attack on a Russian military airbase in Crimea, destroying a Su-30 in the process. Additionally, it stated that the same strike damaged three Su-24 jet bombers and another Su-30.

During an overnight combined drone operation at the Shear military airbase's aviation depot, the SBU reported that four fighter jets were critically damaged and at least one was entirely destroyed.
The Russian Defense Ministry has not yet provided an official response to the allegation, though. According to pro-Russian Telegram groups, a drone attack occurred on Crimea's western coast and was partially repulsed.
